“The Lands Between” is a fantasy action RPG developed by the development team behind TRINE 3, the previous generation AAA game, that brings out a new vision of the Lands Between – a vast and mysterious world where an age-old myth is resonating among heroes.

Set in the Lands Between, a myth about a band of heroes—a group of people who have been entrusted with the legendary Elden Ring, a talisman that can grant unlimited power—is spreading. For the first time in a long while, the Lands Between is about to be shaken by an exciting event of a mythical scale.

That is when you, the hero, are summoned.

The game begins by placing the player in the role of a character who was entrusted with the power of the legendary Elden Ring. Nintendo’s Switch could bring console gaming to all

Two years after releasing the much-criticized Wii U, Nintendo is back with a new console called the Nintendo Switch. For the first time in a long time, the company is giving serious consideration to what kind of games fans are interested in. As a result, the Switch will be just as capable at entertaining non-gamers as it will pro gamers. And that’s a good thing.

Nintendo’s “house of the future” plans to use its games in new ways. Let’s look at the company’s history and its ideal of how games should be played.

Nintendo is a company that isn’t just about games. In fact, it isn’t even a games company in the traditional sense of that term. The two major products the company manufactures are the Wii and 3DS. (Remember that, 10 years ago, the Nintendo Wii was announced without the 3DS! It became the defining system of the gen.) The Wii has been a success in terms of sales and in terms of boosting the popularity of Nintendo franchises. However, due to the Wii U’s unpopularity, Nintendo only had very limited success with its third platform, the 3DS.

The Wii U’s launch showed that Nintendo needed to reinvent itself. The Wii’s best games were 3D Mario and Kirby. And some of the best game releases in 2012, including The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, came on that console. It was a step in the right direction, but with the main console and handheld being different. The Wii U’s failure to have a unified experience after that first year is credited in no small part to the fact that 3DS continues to be the same powerful handheld that it is now.

Nintendo is betting its future on the Nintendo Switch: a hybrid console that can either be a standalone or be part of a TV/stand setup.
