Yen Sato is an easy-going guy who loves both soccer and school. One day, he is chosen as a member of an elite team with four other human and four Alicetal members. When the two parties meet in a town, they are attacked by a large number of enemies.
Yen has the chance to save the other members and escape the town. As he is running away, he hears strange sounds. A voice calls out to him.

Gamers rejoice, after announcing their preference for web-based games over traditional console or PC console options and with a new Australian distributor announced by Valve, video games are once again taking on a new shape that every trendsetter is trying to fit in to. Not that console alternatives were not available, but the challenge ahead wasn't to see what you could put inside a box, but to find a format that would work for everyone.

In a world of streamed videos and consoles that will also emulate web-based games, it might seem hard to believe that the concept of gaming online predates the 2000's. The concept of matching up like-minded individuals with similar interests is what got people dreaming of new games by the click of a mouse long before the Nintendo and Sony console wars, and we may yet see a new start of the concept even if the present landscape of gaming is full of experiences where the only difference between yourself and that neighbor in the bedroom is the views that you get on Twitter.

Rise, Tarnished, and be guided by grace to brandish the power of the Elden Ring and become an Elden Lord in the Lands Between.
Outstanding games are made by gamers for gamers, and this is something true of Elden Ring. It is clearly a love letter to classic RPG games from the 16 and 32-bit eras, and the result is a game that is both nostalgic and refreshing, although a bit dated. The art and music are wonderful, and there are no fewer than nine distinct races that players can choose from to play as. Players can build their own character using the standard RPG character creation system, choose from four races – the Humans, Elians, Elves, and Orcs, and pick from various classes. I played as an Elven Ranger, and the game’s crafting system was something I hadn’t seen before, and it’s a stroke of genius. Players can create everything from costumes and weapons to armor and higher-level magic items. This means that a player has many options for how they want to play. For example, a solo player can earn gold by completing quests on the side and earn weapons by defeating monsters. However, it also means that one can never truly become a “master” of the game. It is so rich that it is possible to play in many different ways at the same time, and in a skill-less game like Elden Ring, this is the most important feature.
My only criticism is that the graphics are a bit dated. The environment art looks nice, but some textures, particularly on Elians, are not very nice. That said, the story is tremendously well-done, and it is easy to tell it, in part because some of the events take place some time between choices. The world is full of interesting NPCs, and there are many opportunities to engage in battles with them. The game opens with a living and breathing world and doesn’t feel like a relic of the past, which is a good thing. It is a game that “feels like” a classic RPG, but is actually a contemporary entry into the genre. There is also the benefit of difficulty. The game is still challenging, despite using an automatic HP and XP system. I played on Normal difficulty, and it never made me feel weak.
