What’s in Photoshop Elements 2019?

When compared to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 offers about half of the same functions. However, the latest version of Elements includes a few new features that have been missing from Elements since it was first released in 2007.

For example, Photoshop Elements 2019 adds dual rulers, a feature that was available in Elements 2018 and earlier but wasn’t available in Elements 2018.9 or earlier. This was likely done in order to make the program’s interface easier to use, and the dual rulers have even been integrated into the Elements “Live Paint” mode. Live Paint lets you paint or draw directly onto a photo or image in a way that allows the app to extract the object you paint or draw into a layer, and give you results like these:

I have a directory structure that looks like this:

-> my_dir/
-> my_dir1/
-> fileA
-> my_dir2/

I need to remove the my_dir prefix from the filenames such that they look like this:
root/

I am able to remove the prefix and get the root dir path in this case root/my_dir/ but my_dir is a dynamic prefix that changes and I need to find a way to search the directory tree and remove any prefix that matches “my_dir”. This is for a C# app.

The question you’ve asked above is equivalent to “find the files with my_dir in their name and rename them”.
The reason is that, in an UNIX-based environment, the path name is not an arbitrary path, it’s a tree, with a specific structure.
You can do this, for example:
$ mkdir /tmp/my_dir
$ mv /tmp/my_dir/* /tmp/my_dir/
$ cd /tmp/my_dir
$ ls
fileA
fileB

With this, you can see that the file paths are absolute, and that you haven’t changed the structure of your directory.
If you try to change the path after this:
$ mv /tmp/my_dir/fileC /tmp/my_dir

you’ll see that you’ll wind up with /tmp/my_dir/fileC being treated as just a normal file name rather than a real directory.
In order to solve your problem, you can do this:
$ mv /tmp/my_dir/* /tmp/my_dir/
$ mkdir -p /tmp/my_dir2
$ mv /
