Clinical, laboratory, and imaging variables were identified by means of univariate and multivariate analysis. A total of 517 patients underwent CT of the abdomen/pelvis for blunt abdominal trauma. Of these, 45 (9%) patients had intra-abdominal injury identified by means of laparotomy or autopsy.
